| Construction Supervision & Management |
Presently SECON is in the process of developing team to handle Construction Supervision & Management of Project execution of all components. |
|
| Leak detection |
Leak detection is a necessary component in the management of water transport main and distribution systems worldwide. Accurate determination of the position of leaking water pipes within a supply system and subsequent repair serves to conserve water as well as energy. Water that is lost after treatment and pressurization, but before delivery to customers, is money and energy wasted.
SECON has got required resource to carry out the leak detection and derive strategy for leak detection and repair. Following are some of the area
- Leak detection using latest technology
- District Metered Area
- Pressure Monitoring System based on GSM/GPRS technology
- Calculation of Economic level of Leakage, Unavoidable Annual Real Losses and Percentage water Loss
|
|
| Training and Capacity Building programs |
SECON has capacity & resources in carrying out training and capacity building programs to various stakeholders in the field of water and wastewater management.
|
|
| Knowledge Base |
The department library has a collection of manuals, journals, books covering different fields of public health engineering, IS Codes, BS Codes and ASTM Standards. SECON being an ISO 9001:2000 certified, the PHE department has all activities complied to ISO standards and activity manuals are available for the approach to planning, design and preparation of drawings.
